Palm City - West of Stuart, 2 exits off I95 - SR713 and SR714 & the Turnpike exit - Martin Downs - SR714 (5-7 miles to beaches). Our warm climate allows us to grow many native fruits such as citrus (navels, honeybells, tangerines, honey, mercots, and many varieties of oranges). Mangoes are another tropic sweet favorite, as well as papaya, bananas which grow in abundance. Coconut palms give us a beautiful palm foilage and many coconuts. Luquat fruit are native to our climate as well. Flowers and plants in our area include bougainvilla, hibiscus, ixoria, orchids and roses. Palm City's #1 schools that earned an A rating include; Palm City Elementary School, Bessy Creek Elementary School and Hidden Oaks Middle School.
